Please share your updated resume, and I'll reach out to schedule a convenient time to connect.Job Title: Exterior Trim EngineerLocation: Newark, California – 100% OnsiteDuration: Long-term Contract Work Schedule: 40 hours/week + ~5 hours OT, Monday–FridayExpenses: $500/week travel expectedChance for Extension: YesRequired QualificationsExperience: 2+ years in vehicle exterior trim design & development Technical Skills: Expertise in designing side valences, sill trims, underbody aero shields, wheelhouse liners, spoilers/appliques, frunk/froot, and rocker panels Strong CAD modeling skills, preferably using CATIA V5 or V6 Hands-on experience with thermoplastic and thermoset resin materials and Class A manufacturing technologies, including painting Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline Demonstrated launch experience and familiarity with production processes Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications5+ years of experience in plastics design, Class A surfaces, front crash, aero features, lighting integration, module integration, tooling, supply base management, fit and finish, gap and flush, thermal expansion, structural design, and paint matching Creativity and flair for 3D engineering problem-solving Strong desire to contribute to world-class vehicle development in a collaborative environment
