Senior Procurement Manager Are you a strong negotiator with a passion for optimizing resources and maximizing value? As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will direct and coordinate procurement activities within a district. Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to negotiate with suppliers and implement strategic sourcing initiatives that align with our goals. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing procurement processes and driving strategic partnerships.Your responsibilities will include:Overseeing all procurement activities within the district.Negotiating commercial terms and conditions with material vendors and subcontractors while consulting with legal department and senior management.Managing the qualification and evaluation process for vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers.Communicating and enforcing procurement policies and procedures to the district and project teams.Overseeing the development and review of all procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.Managing the maintenance of records of goods ordered and received; overseeing all Accounts Payable reconciliation.Monitoring and overseeing execution of the purchasing buyout.Preparing reports and correspondence as needed.We are looking for candidates with:Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management or Engineering required.8+ years' experience in construction procurement required.Skilled in contract negotiations, influence and legal terminologyExtensive knowledge of the construction industryProficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) with general knowledge of database utilization. JD Edwards E1 World experience is a plus.Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accuratelyLeadership and influencing skills required.
