If you are hands-on, enjoy being independent and exploring new areas - you will be a great fit!The successful candidate can expect to travel to residential project sites, in and around the Peoria,IL area to complete data collection to support residential solar installations (~60-70 miles radius). Hours are flexible, you provide the times that work for you and the work is recurring year long.This role will be effective immediately, therefore the below documentation should be active or readily reactivated:Drivers license and access to a vehicle are requiredAn active FAA Part 107 license is requiredAccess to a drone (Mavic 2 Zoom, Mavic 2 Pro, Phantom 4, Inspire 1 & 2, Mavic Air 2, Autel Evo) is requiredResponsibilitiesOperate drone to capture roof photosUse ladders to enter into attics to measure rafter, truss size, and spacingUse hand tools to perform cuts into drywall as needed to measure rafters in inaccessible atticsCapture photos of the electrical meter and service panelsHandle basic interactions with homeowners in a polite & professional mannerUpload deliverables to shared cloud storage in a timely mannerConduct site surveys independently, travel from your own homeSkills & QualificationsWritten and verbal communication skills in English - Spanish is an assetConstruction, handyman, or similar experience is an assetCustomer service skills (or similar) are an assetMust have access to a vehicleExpected volume of work: Average 20 hours per week, depending on your preferred travel radius.Job Type: Part-time, ContractJob Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $1.00 - $2.00 per yearBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:Day shiftApplication Question(s):Do you have an FAA Remote ID-compliant drone or a Remote ID Module?Do you own a drone (e.g. Mavic 2 Zoom, Mavic 2 Pro, Phantom 4, Inspire 1 & 2, Mavic Air 2, Autel Evo)?License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)FAA Part 107 License (Required)Work Location: On the road
