DevOps Engineer
Overview
In this role you will work across Linux/Unix environments to build, operate, and optimize scalable systems. You will collaborate with teams to maintain production-grade websites and CMS-backed services, while embracing automation and infrastructure as code. You will tackle reliability challenges at scale, plan for failures, and continuously improve performance and uptime. The ideal candidate is hands-on, open to contributing to open source, and passionate about cutting-edge technologies that drive quality customer outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesManage Linux/Unix development and system administration in production environmentsDevelop and maintain applications using Python, Bash and other languagesSupport websites and CMS-backed services in productionImplement automation and infrastructure as code practices (Puppet, Ansible, or SaltStack)Participate in collaborative coding workflows (peer reviews, CI/CD)Scale large systems and optimize configurations for performanceTroubleshoot and tweak configuration files to maximize application efficiencyPlan for failure and minimize downtimeEngage with open source tools and potentially contribute to the community
