Full Stack Developer (Python + React) — Spring, TX (On-Site)About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Python and React to join a high-impact team building globally-used trading and data platforms. This is a long-term contract engagement based on-site in Spring, Texas. The ideal candidate brings strong backend and frontend capabilities, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes full ownership of their work.Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Python and React - Build high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs using FastAPI - Develop modern, responsive front-end interfaces with React and component-based architecture - Implement and manage data transformation pipelines using DBT - Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to deliver scalable platform solutions - Maintain code quality through GitHub-based version control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines - Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of critical systems - Contribute to architectural decisions for platform engineering and data engineering initiatives - Write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively across teamsRequirements - 7+ years of professional software development experience - Advanced proficiency in Python including APIs, async programming, and data processing - Strong experience with React for modern UI development - Hands-on experience building services with FastAPI - Working knowledge of DBT for data engineering and transformation - Solid experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices - Excellent problem-solving skills with an ownership-driven mindset - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work on-site in Spring, TX (candidates must be within 50 miles)Preferred Qualifications - Experience in Oil and Gas, energy, or trading platform environments - Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - Background in data engineering, platform engineering, or AI engineering - Experience working in high-availability, large-scale production systems - Familiarity with agile development methodologiesEngagement Details - Location: Spring, Texas (On-Site, no remote) - Duration: Long-Term Contract - Employment Type: W2 Contract - Start Date: ImmediateOperAxisis an equal opportunity employer.
