Summary: LongPath Technologies uses Nobel Prize-winning laser technology to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions from the natural gas supply chain. We are a unique and proven continuous methane emissions monitoring system that provides high-value monitoring at a low cost to oil and gas customers. We are looking for a Field Deployment Technician to join our growing deployment team. This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting, rapidly expanding company positioned to make a positive impact on the environment. Responsibilities and Duties: The Field Deployment Technician will be a hands on member of a team responsible for the field installation and maintenance of Long Path Technologies emissions monitoring systems. System installation includes pre-deployment assembly, site preparation, mechanical installation, system integration and test. The field deployment technicians will report to the Field Superintendant. Responsibilities include: · Perform all activities associated with the installation of the emissions monitoring system according to established work procedures · Follow safety procedures in performing all required tasks · Preassembly of certain mechanical system components · Installation of the system tower and equipment · Location and installation of reflector poles · Installation and integration of the system electronics cabinet · Assist with documenting procedures and identify process improvements Qualification and Skills: · Ability to work independently and follow established procedures · Strong safety consciousness, and adherence to all safety protocol and procedures · Organized, linear troubleshooting skills and problem solving skills · Map interpretation · Mechanical aptitude · Good communications skills · Attention to detail, creativity and imagination Additional preferred skills: · Fiber optic experience · Telehandler and Manlift certification · Rigging experience · Interest in working with new technologies · Fluent Spanish · High School Degree or better Work Environment: · Work is performed primarily in a oil field environment · Primary job location is Midland, TX (Greater Permian Basin) · Occasional travel may be required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Work Location: In person
