Struct & Payload Design Engr This position involves developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements to establish system design. Responsibilities include maintaining and modifying designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and other methods, leading performance and analysis of tests, managing supplier development, and assisting with emerging technologies. Location: Everett, WA Salary Range: $80-85/hr on w2 Contract: 6+ months, possible extension Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical, or Material Sciences) 9 years of experience in engineering, including design, integration, and/or certification Experience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA equivalent Ability to work directly for Artech on W2 Prior work experience in the aerospace industry Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in aerospace interiors, materials, and properties Experience in program or project management Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking Day-to-Day Responsibilities Provide engineering support and project leadership within a production system Engage directly with aerospace suppliers or airlines Validate and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements Design for manufacturing Work on aircraft cargo compartment and handling system design, integration, and/or certification Company Benefits & Culture Dynamic and fast-paced work environment Opportunities for continuous personal learning and development Collaborative team atmosphere connecting technical design to the future of air travel
