Junior Cloud Engineer

This company is driven by a passion to create a better world by making electronics more affordable through semiconductor innovation, building on each generation to make technology more reliable, affordable, and lower power.The Role Design, deploy, and operate secure cloud-based information systems to safeguard sensitive information for federal customers. Build and operate secure, compliant cloud environments, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive and classified data. Architect, deploy, and manage secure cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) for enterprise and mission-critical workloads. Oversee the implementation of robust cybersecurity controls and risk management practices for cloud infrastructure. Ensure continuous compliance with federal laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP High, DoD SRG IL4/IL5/IL6, ITAR, EAR, CUI). Monitor cloud environments for emerging threats and coordinate incident response and recovery.What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud and/or other federal cloud environments. Experience with cloud security, network security, and infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.). Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance highly preferred. Familiarity with compliance regulations and frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST, ITAR, EAR, CUI).
