Residential Sales Consultant

Pella Corporation is accepting applications for a Resident Sales Consultant for the Plymouth, Michigan market. The Residential Sales Consultant is responsible for selling Pella windows and doors directly to homeowners for replacement projects. Through in-home sales appointments and following a structured selling process the consultant will understand the customer's wants and needs and translate our product offerings to match. The consultant will strive for first-time close and will deliver effective follow-up as needed to close the rest. It is expected that all Residential Sales Consultants will proactively create self-generated leads such as new referrals through customer relationship networking to drive sales goals and maximize earning potential. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment of constant interruptions and be able to prioritize responsibilities.Language and Communication SkillsAbility to read and analyze documents related to contracts and work documents. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The noise level in the work environment varies between low to moderate in administrative offices and to moderate on constructions sites.TravelThe vast majority of travel will be local. Must be able to drive to showrooms, job sites and customer/contractor locations and required company functions at various locations.
