Accountant

We’re partnering with a client to hire a non-profit Accounting Professional to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and close processes. This role works closely with leadership and plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial data, strong controls, and timely reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting activities including A/R, A/P, general ledger, payroll, time billing, tax payments, and inventory controlProcess company-wide payroll and support monthly and quarterly close, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow preparationPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports, forecasts, and operational analyses for the management teamReconcile general ledger and investment accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial recordsSupport annual financial and 401(k) audits, serving as a liaison with external auditorsProvide financial data and analysis for special projects as requested and ensure all active projects are supported by valid, binding contractsCompensationBase salary range: $60,000 – $75,000, depending on experience and qualificationsBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company match• Paid time off and paid holidays• Stable work environment with long-term growth potential• Collaborative team and direct exposure to leadershipQualifications• Experience in a hands-on accounting role with exposure to month-end and quarterly close• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, payroll, and financial reporting• Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audits• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
