Product Security Engineer, Cloud & Infrastructure San Carlos, CA (on-site) About 1X We build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance. The Role As a Product Security Engineer focused on cloud and infrastructure, you will design and maintain secure architectures, build cloud-native security services, and protect CI/CD pipelines. Your work will be essential to ensuring secure communication and data protection across 1X's robotics platforms. You WillDevelop and maintain security-critical cloud services in close collaboration with engineering teamsImplement infrastructure-as-code security practices for consistent and secure deploymentsDesign and manage identity and access systems that enforce just-in-time and least-privilege accessProtect CI/CD pipelines from poisoning and credential theft while enforcing artifact integrityBuild and operate cloud-native security services for device authentication, data protection, and secure communicationArchitect secure cloud networks through VPC segmentation, traffic filtering, and access controlConfigure and manage cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools to detect misconfigurations and support incident response across environments Must HaveExperience coding and deploying services in production cloud environmentsStrong expertise in securing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCPProficiency with infrastructure-as-code practices and toolsHands-on experience with identity and access management systems and least-privilege enforcementProven ability to secure CI/CD pipelines and validate artifact integrityExperience developing and operating cloud-native security services and controlsDeep understanding of secure cloud network architectures and connectivity (e.g., VPCs, PrivateLink, Direct Connect)Familiarity with CSPM tools and incident response processesSolid programming or scripting skills to automate security toolingStrong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standardsExpertise in software development and code auditing Benefits & CompensationSalary Range: $137,861 - $240,000 + EquityHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer 1X is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
