Lead Engineer, Data CentersWhat This Job Involves -The Lead Engineer - Critical Environments supervises and directs operating engineers in installation, repair, and maintenance of all base building and critical system machinery and equipment. Responsible for supervising the operating team on their shift.Your day-to-day tasks will include -Supervise maintenance staff, delegate tasks, and monitor performanceManage service requests efficiently with minimal disruptionDirect contracted maintenance work and oversee warranty fulfillmentImplement and schedule preventative maintenance programOrder parts/equipment and maintain inventoryMaintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on all critical systems: fire/life safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical (lighting, UPS, PDU, generators, switchgear), emergency backup, boilers, refrigeration, and water systemsRecord readings, analyze operations, diagnose problems, and take corrective actionAdditional duties as requestedDesired Experience And Technical Skills -Requirements:High School diploma/GED + 5+ years experience (including supervisory)Operating Engineers license (SMA) and Universal CFC Technician CertificationHands-on data center experience with UPS systems, generators, and switchgearStrong communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiencyPhysical ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders to 30 ft, and work at heightsFlexibility to work varied schedules, holidays, and respond to emergenciesPreferred:Corrigo ExperienceMCIM / Salesforce ExperienceZendesk ExperienceService Now ExperienceUniversal EPA 608 certificationTrained in NFPA70E
