School RN - All Grade LevelsLocation: Chicago, IL 60638Compensation rate: $80/h before taxes and benefits!Position OverviewThe School RN will be responsible for delivering healthcare services, supporting students with chronic conditions, administering medication, and promoting a safe, healthy school setting. This is an in-person, contract position running through the academic year.ResponsibilitiesProvide first aid and emergency care to students and staff during the school dayAdminister prescribed medications and treatmentsMaintain accurate and confidential student health recordsSupport the care of students with chronic medical conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, seizures)Communicate with families, school personnel, and healthcare providers as neededMonitor immunization compliance and health documentationContribute to IEP and 504 Plan processes as appropriateQualificationsCurrent and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of IllinoisCPR certification (must be current)Experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferredStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate with education and clinical teams
