Job DetailsIQ Resource Group is hiring a Warehouse Worker and Pre-finish Department Worker in Elk River, Minnesota!Location: Elk River, MNShift: Warehouse Worker- Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm AND Pre-finish Department Worker Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pmPay: $18.00 an hourJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Pre-finish worker for our 1st and 2nd shift operations. This is a versatile, hands-on role responsible for staging and loading outgoing products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting production by preparing raw materials for finishing.This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate shipments, efficient production flow, and high-quality finished products.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Shipping:Stage, prep, wrap, and load outgoing merchandise according to load listsLoad trucks safely and accurately to ensure timely next-day deliveriesPerform final quality checks on staged loads, including verifying strapping and order accuracyPull and prepare will-call orders and customer pick ticketsAssist with inventory control including cycle counts, physical inventory, and processing returnsPre-finish Department:Prepare raw wood materials for finishing (hand sanding, scuffing, filling nail holes/knots)Feed materials into production lines at a consistent pace to maintain efficiencyTransport raw materials from warehouse to production areasSupport Door Shop and Casing departments as neededAssist with shop cleanup and maintain a clean, dust-free work environmentSafety & Equipment OperationOperate forklifts and material handling equipment safely (or ability to become certified)Use power tools and shop equipment such as table saws, miter boxes, and casing machinesFollow OSHA and company safety standards at all timesMaintain a clean, organized workspaceQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required1+ year of warehouse or manufacturing experience preferredForklift certification (or ability to obtain)Experience using power and hand tools preferredBasic computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel) for inventory trackingStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to stand and walk for full shiftsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with team assistanceAbility to perform repetitive tasks such as sanding, lifting, and material handlingWhat We're Looking ForMechanically inclined and hands-on individualTeam player with a strong work ethicSomeone who takes pride in quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and stay on task
