The objective is to develop and implement sales strategies and monitor and analyze sales activity against sales goals.Position Type Full Time, ExemptMajor Tasks, Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesDirect and coordinate sales functions as they relate to JCB CE Sales.Develop and coordinate selling cycles and methodology for the Northeast RegionDirect and oversee the company dealer network base and work to identify and develop new customers for equipmentEnsure communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with VP of MarketingBuilds, develops and manages a sales team capable of carrying out needed salesResearch and develop strategies and plans, which identify sales opportunities, such as seeking out new dealersDevelop and manage CE Sales budget and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets for CE SalesDirectly oversee the management of marquis dealers, while coordinating the management of other dealers within the departmentParticipate in the development of new accounts and new account proposalsEstablish and maintain short-term and long-term goals, objectives, any applicable departmental policies and operating proceduresEstablish and promote good working relationships with dealers and any relevant end-usersCollaborate with department managers and other administrative staff to execute and revise as needed a five-year business planBuild, develop and manage the field sales team for the northeast region.Nature & ScopeReports to EVP of Dealer SalesMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business or related fieldMinimum of 10-years industry sales experienceMinimum of 5-years as a Regional Business Manager Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in business or related field7-Years experience in a senior-level sales position within the same industryKnowledge, Skills, Abilities & CompetenciesExperience with strategic planning and executionExperience with contracts, negotiations and change managementComfort with structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectationsExcellent professional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to motivate team membersWillingness to work a flexible schedule with significant weekend or evening work and travel as requiredJob ConditionsBoth office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environmentSubject to noise and temperature changesPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
