Any experience in the sign, screen printing, or digital printing fields is a plus!Job SummaryAs a Delivery Driver Supervisor at Graphic Solutions Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Dallas delivery team, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, and upholding our company's commitment to delivering the right products promptly and courteously. In addition to your supervisory duties, you will also serve as a back-up driver when needed. You will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and motivating a team of 18-22 delivery drivers to ensure efficient and safe deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety, communication, and attendanceEssential FunctionsReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions. DOT Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all DOT regulations and company safety rules. Supervision: Manage and lead a team of 18-22 delivery drivers, including recruiting, training, rewarding, and performance management. Route Planning: Utilize and understand our routing software to develop and optimize delivery routes for multiple branches, maximizing efficiency. Safety: Enforce and promote strict safety protocols, ensuring drivers adhere to all traffic laws and company safety guidelines at each branch. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of deliveries, ensuring products are handled and transported with care to meet customer expectations. Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing delivery-related issues promptly and courteously. Inventory Management: Collaborate with branch teams to track and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs, and ensure the fleet is in top working condition. Attendance and Communication: Foster a culture of punctuality and open communication among drivers and other teams. Back-Up Driver: When needed, step in as a delivery driver to ensure on-time and safe deliveries, adhering to the company's high standards.Required ExperienceEducation or Experience Required:High school diploma or equivalent (bachelors degree in logistics or related field preferred).Proven experience in a supervisory role within the delivery or logistics industry.In-depth knowledge of routing software and GPS systems.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Willingness to serve as a back-up driver as needed.Must be capable of sitting/standing/bending/squatting/lifting for an extended period.Other Duties As AssignedPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
