Position Overview:We are seeking a Residential Program Manager to join our collaborative and dynamic team within our Independent Living Program serving the Greater Danbury area. This role supports individuals with people with disabilities who live independently in the community with varying levels of need. The Residential Program Manager plays a key role in ensuring these supports are effectively aligned, person-centered, and responsive. The ideal candidate will be a strong, team-oriented leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to empowering individuals to maintain independence while ensuring their evolving needs are met through coordinated, high-quality services. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership, supervision, and support to direct support staff, ensuring high-quality, person-centered servicesOversee operations of independent living programs, ensuring safety, stability, and well-being of individuals servedCoordinate services for individuals with varying needs. Serve as primary contact for families, guardians, vendors, and community stakeholdersAddress concerns proactively and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirementsManage staff scheduling to align with individual service needsParticipate in audits and quality assurance activitiesAdvocate for individuals, promoting independence and access to appropriate supportsQualifications: Associate’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related fieldValid Driver’s LicenseExperience in human services, with a background in direct care preferred; assistant manager experience a plusFlexibility to meet the needs of a varied schedule and commitment to DDS Developmental Disability ServicesWhy Join Ability Beyond?
