Medical Assistant - YDI - Urgent Care

Medical AssistantAs a member of the care team, the Medical Assistant works to provide patient-centered care delivery. The MA provides initial preparation of patients prior to the provider's encounter; assists providers in patient care activities as directed; updates/documents and records in the EHR system; relieves/assists the Patient Service Representative as needed; orders and restocks exam rooms and office supplies as needed, and assists office staff with office-specific tasks.Position Requirements:Previous physician office experience preferred.Experience with electronic health record preferred.High School graduate or equivalent required.Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program preferred.Medical Assistant certification preferred.Work Schedule:M-F, 8a-8p Sat/Sun 8a-6pBenefits:At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 80 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 40 hours per pay period are eligible for benefits.Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union.
