Shipping and Receiving Associate
Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of shipping duties and will also be required to update and edit the warehouse shipping manifest, monthly cycle counting, and documentation. In addition, the candidate will perform sorting and packing of specific orders.
All positions require ITAR compliance, and you must be able to obtain an export license.

Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, Mi-Tech consolidates production, sales, maintenance, customer service, and quality control in one 85,000-square-foot location to maximize efficiency.
Responsibilities and Duties (Include but not limited to):
· Responsible for preparation, operation, and maintenance of assigned shipping materials and equipment
· Responsible for receiving all incoming shipments, verifying their contents, and ensuring that they match the packing list and purchase order.
· Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes tracking numbers, invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
· Maintains accurate inventory records, including stock levels, locations, and expiration dates.
· Ensure that material is packaged and shipped as indicated on MTM Traveler or Customer Instructions
· Responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the country, including preparing necessary customs documents and complying with international regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School diploma
· Previous Shipping / Receiving Experience
· Microsoft Office Experience
· Inventory and cycle counting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in creating Fed Ex and UPS systems for shipments
· 1-2 years’ experience in logistics
· Experience in manufacturing environment
· Forklift Experience
Physical Requirements:
· Be able to stand, walk, and bend for duration of shift
· Be able to reach with both hands and lift up to 50lbs
· Adapt to a hot work environment
· Able to work at a fast pace while paying attention to detail
