Mountain Vehicle Mechanic I & II

The Mountain Vehicle Mechanic is part of a team responsible for servicing and repairing heavy equipment, snowcats, trucks, snowmobiles, small engines, and other equipment needed to support resort and mountain operations. Duties & Responsibilities:Always maintain a safe and clean environment in the shopRepair and maintain diesel and gas enginesWork as part of a team; assist other employees in diagnosis and repairsPreventative maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and equipmentTroubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, computer and electrical systems on vehicles and equipmentMove equipment safely in and out of the service buildingComplete work orders & daily paperwork as requiredQualifications:A current U.S. Driver's License is requiredWelding experience preferredExperience with diagnosing and repairing electrical and computer systems on modern vehiclesExperience with the diagnosis and repair of major mechanical systems on modern vehiclesFamiliarity with heavy equipment maintenance and previous experience with snow cats preferredAbility to drive ATVs, snowmobiles, snow cats and trucks for equipment recoveries and on-hill repairsHave essential tools and a toolboxEngage in physical activities like walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reachingCan safely lift and/or move up to 75 poundsEqual Opportunity Employer
