Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment. The ER RN will provide rapid assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts. Key Responsibilities: Assess, prioritize, and provide nursing care to patients with emergent and urgent medical conditions. Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status. Assist with emergency procedures, trauma cases, and life-saving interventions. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).
