Their site located near Aurora, IL is flourishing due to increased demand, and because of this expansion, they are looking to add a talented Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to their team.Job DescriptionLead, coach, and develop the manufacturing engineering team supporting CNC, robotics, and assembly areas.Set technical priorities aligned with operational, quality, and cost goals.Oversee engineering talent development, performance management, and skills training.Own process capability, efficiency, and capacity across machining and assembly assets.Establish and maintain standards for CNC programming, fixturing, robotic cells, and assembly processes.Approve and manage process changes, tooling updates, and automation improvements.Partner with Operations and Maintenance to improve uptime, OEE, and labor productivity.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, scrap reduction, ergonomics, and safety.Support capital planning for CNC equipment, robotics, fixtures, and automation systems.Lead the launch of new products, fixtures, robotic programs, and assembly lines.Ensure smooth implementation of automation upgrades and manufacturing system enhancements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful Applicant3-5+ years of experience in CNC machining, automation, and/or assembly manufacturing.Proven experience leading manufacturing or automation engineering teams.Strong understanding of CNC machining, fixturing, robotics, and assembly system design.Demonstrated ability to manage multi-shift, high-mix manufacturing environments.Effective communicator skilled at leading cross-functional collaboration.CNC routing or machining of plastics,wood-plastic composites, or similar materials.Robotic assembly cells and automated fastening systems.Lean manufacturing, industrial engineering, and line balancing.Automation integration and capital project leadership.What's on OfferBase salary $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience level10% bonus incentive3 Weeks PTO + 1 week sick timeComprehensive benefits401k plan with employer matchContactZac JonesQuote job ref
