The brand continues to grow and create thoughtfully curated collections for its dedicated clientele.Role DescriptionScarlett Gasque is seeking a Stock Associate within our new Meatpacking location. The Stock Associate will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing shipping and receiving processes, maintaining retail stockrooms, and assisting in loss prevention measures. The position also supports the retail team by ensuring an organized and efficient back-of-house operation to enhance the overall customer shopping experience.What you can expect: Compare merchandise invoices to items received to ensure that shipments are correct. Display merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales. Receive, open, unpack and issue sales floor merchandise. Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise. Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be replenished. Answer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selection. Manage all Marketplace order fulfillment and shipping. Assist in the implementation of Health & Safety policy and operational procedures utilizing training and guidance provided to support store management within this area.Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests confidently, and partner with team or management as needed. Operate POS accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash/media in compliance with policy. Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines. Help to receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness. Work alongside other employees to create an inviting store environment that reflects the Scarlett Gasque brand and meets company standards.Requirements 1+ of previous retail experience (cashier/stock experience, sales etc.), preferably in a luxury retail service environment. A combination of education and experience will be consideredMust be at least 18 years of age at time of application.Ability to lift and carry boxes (occasional lifting up to 50 pounds) and stay on your feet throughout Possesses current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace. Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (including the ability to use iPad/laptop, Mobile POS and Internet), etc.  Ability to handle merchandise, place merchandise, ship and receive product.Ability to contribute to an effective and productive team/work environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective time management skills, and a proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to work nights and weekends, as well as occasional Holidays.
