Vice President
We are seeking a Vice President Of Operations to become an integral part of our team! You will coordinate and oversee the organization's daily operations. The VP will actively collaborate with the owners to optimize processes and provide insights that will drive sales across all channels of the business. This role must continuously seek out initiatives that will increase sales and further the Company's overall strategic direction.RequirementsMust be available to work weekends and flexible hours if neededMust be authorized to work in the U.S.Previous experience in operations or other related fieldsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsStrong leadership qualitiesTech savvy with various computer programsExperience with Fishbowl Inventory System preferredExperience with Account Management preferredExperience in Purchasing and Management preferredExperience in the Furniture and Accessories Industries preferred (Experience in Art or Design also a plus!)This is a full-time roleOptions for some remote work also availableResponsibilitiesLead and refine operational practices to maximize efficiency and productivity.Will manage team to meet and monitor important deadlinesTrack and forecast operational trends and sales analysisEOM reportingProvide daily internal operations oversightLaunch, integrate, and train team on new systemsPlay a key role in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes to ensure a solid and high-performing team.Formalize policies and procedures in accordance to HR regulationsOversee the performance management process, including conducting performance reviews and addressing any necessary actions such as terminations or promotions.Creating schedules, expectations, and job descriptions for employeesAssist in training new team members, ensuring they are driven and always growingLead weekly/monthly meetings with teamWe review what's going, get a pulse on the teams, feedback, any other topics that we need to discuss with the team.Break away meetings with each group to get feedback, find out what is needed and what we need to work on.Working with management to create company policies: monitor employee conduct and other various policies (PTO, holidays, overtime)Work with Inventory Manager on any issues with scheduling and quarterly inventory countsCreate/update Company manualsTrade Show CoordinationCustomer Relations and MarketingDevelop and maintain relationships with key buyers and vendorsStay updated with industry trends and market demands, strategizing in line with these trends.Play a significant role in finding and pursuing new key accounts for business growthWork with management to develop sales tools and templatesHandle pricing and quoting for customersFocus on reaching the top 100 targets, update the target list, and pursue new accounts for business growthFind creative ways to decrease costs and increase efficiencyAlways find the best way to work with materials and local vendors (updating terms, adding more service for the same price, or finding new vendors)At Garber Collection, we specialize in the design and import of stunning high-end wall décor, shadow boxes, canvas art, and mirrors through exclusive sources from all over the world.
