After that, it transitions to a hybrid schedule (2–3 days/week onsite).What You’ll DoModernize and rewrite legacy applications to improve compatibility, reliability, and maintainabilityDesign, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, and .NETWrite efficient SQL queries, design schemas, and optimize stored proceduresTroubleshoot and resolve complex software issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams on new features for web platforms and newspaper publishing systemsConduct and participate in code reviews to maintain quality and best practicesCore Skills We’re Looking ForExpertise in C#, .NET Core and .NETStrong SQL skills: schema design, normalization, stored proceduresAbility to write clean, maintainable, and efficient codeExperience working with and modernizing legacy systemsNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Python and JavaScriptFamiliarity with AJAX, CSS, HTMLExperience in ColdFusionExposure to Word Macros and VBQualifications7+ years of professional software development experienceDemonstrated ability to tackle complex problems and deliver practical solutionsStrong collaboration and communication skills—able to work across technical and non-technical teamsDetail-oriented with a “puzzle-solver” mindset The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job function.
