Project Manager /Controls Engineer
JOB SUMMARYThe position is broadly responsible for the development of electrical and process control systems for equipment used in the Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Water Treatment, Manufacturing and other industries.Essential FunctionsEssential FunctionUnderstanding of customer’s specific application and process requirementsDeveloping instrumentation lists, electrical wiring schematics, Bill of Materials, control panel layout, one line and point-to-point wiring diagrams.PLC and SCADA programmingPreparing budgetary cost estimatesSupervising fabrication of control systems, performing factory and site checkoutManaging and physically participating in equipment and systems installation and startupDeveloping and maintaining project documentation: drawings, Bill of Materials and equipment IOM manualsProviding post-installation troubleshooting and technical supportRequired for All Jobs• Performs other duties as assigned• Complies with all policies and standardsQUALIFICATIONSEducationEducation Level Education Details Req/PrefAssociate's DegreeBachelor's Degree Mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering RequiredWork ExperienceExperience Experience Details Required/Preferred1-3 years4-6 years7-9 years10+ years Experienced hands-on project manager with excellent electrical controls engineering, AutoCAD, PLC/SCADA programming, technical writing, and communication skills RequiredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesIndustrial gases industry experience would be helpful.
