Jackson is hiring a CDL Dump Truck Driver to support our road building and construction work across South Carolina. In this role, you will safely move materials to and from job sites so our crews can stay on schedule and get the job done right. You'll be part of a team that values safety, teamwork, and doing quality work every day.What You'll Do:Drive a dump truck to haul materials like dirt, stone, and asphaltCheck your truck before and after each shift to make sure it is safe to useLoad and unload materials safely at plants and job sitesWatch your surroundings at all times, including other trucks, equipment, and workersFollow DOT rules and all company safety guidelinesKeep your truck clean and report any problems right awayCommunicate with supervisors and crew members to keep work movingHelp with simple job site tasks when neededPerform other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For:High school diploma or GED preferredValid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving recordExperience driving a dump truck or working in construction is a plusAbility to follow directions and work safelyTeam player with good communication skillsReliable and shows up to work on timeWilling to work overtime, nights, or weekends when neededMust wear proper safety gear (PPE)Must pass a background check and drug screeningPhysical RequirementsSit for long periods while drivingClimb in and out of the truck safelyStand or walk on job sites when neededLift and carry up to 50 poundsWork outside in heat, cold, dust, and noiseWalk on uneven ground at job sitesStay aware of people and equipment around youBenefits:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and vacationSupportive team and opportunities for advancementAbout C.R.
