DevOps Engineer

Job TitleMUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):Ability to work in an open team environment.Experience deploying and monitoring applications.Security first mindset.Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, engineering practices.Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure testing strategies.Experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, and logging.Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production.Have effective verbal and non-verbal communication with peers and management.Develop, document, and implement CI/CD strategy for management of Infrastructure as Code baseline.Solid experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux based environments.BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another related area.Excellent knowledge of networking technologies, particularly with OSI network layers and TCP/IP.Strong scripting skills, including shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python, Go, Groovy, Helm, etc.Good experience in administering and performance tuning of application stacks, such as Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX, and others.Knowledge of containers including Docker and Kubernetes.DESIRED SKILLS:Knowledge of major telecommunication ecosystem partners.Familiarity with LTE, 5GNR, IMS, VoLTE, WiFi, wireless protocols, and wireless standards.Familiarity with cloud computing, multi-threading and efficient server loading for complex applications.Familiarity with Linux, Programming / Scripting languages (Python, Java, Perl, C#, C++).Proven organizational and interpersonal skills, plus proven relationship building abilities.JOB DUTIES:Responsible for defining and implementing the build, deployment and monitoring standards under CI/CD pipeline and GitOps.Support an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a private cloud environment utilizing security tools and processes.Monitor and support all installed systems and infrastructure related to security issues.Develop custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems and set up needed reporting and alerts.Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.Oversee the organizations security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
