Community Outreach Specialist (Mental Health) - PRP, OMHC & SUD

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Outreach Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community engagement and possess strong communication skills to effectively connect with diverse populations. Duties - Conduct outreach activities to engage with the community and promote awareness of our organization's mission - Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase visibility and participation in programs - Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate outreach events and initiatives - Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteers - Provide support in program development and implementation - Establish and maintain relationships with local hospitals, clinics, schools, government agencies and healthcare providers to ensure seamless referrals process for individuals seeking mental health support. -Work closely with social workers and community organizations to identify individuals in need of mental health services and assist in connecting them to appropriate resources. - Deliver engaging presentations at public speaking engagements to raise awareness about our services Qualifications - Experience in recruiting, public speaking, or social work is preferred - Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others - Knowledge of program development and volunteer management practices - Familiarity with addiction counseling or fundraising is a plus - Ability to navigate various markets and tailor outreach strategies accordingly Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Morning shift No weekends Ability to Relocate: Baltimore, MD 21229: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Baltimore, MD 21229
