Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher for our Preschool Department. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher and ensuring the well-being and development of children in your care. You will assist in creating a warm, engaging, and structured environment where children can thrive. Key Responsibilities: Provide a positive and nurturing environment for the children. Responsible for health and safety of the children Consistently keep clean and maintain the learning environment (including bathrooms) Maintain a permanent room arrangement with no running spaces, shelves used as dividers, and materials/supplies at child level. Equipment out and children taught to use it properly. Provides consistent and constant supervision of all children. Children are never left alone. Know how many children you are responsible for at all times, ages, and who they are. An organized and structures daily schedule is implemented and followed daily. Supports the lead teacher in the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of the classroom. Education and Experience: At least 18 years of age Hold a high school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of childcare experience preferred Knowledge and understanding of all current State and Local regulations Why Join Us?: Positive, supportive working environment.
