Position / Specialty ER techShift: 5x8's, 3pm- 11:30pm. No block schedulingCall Requirements: N/AWeekend Requirement: Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per monthRTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Cook is a MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.Locals accepted: Yes - locals preferred. Milage radius for local candidates is within 75 miles of the facility. Local BR is $5 lessGuaranteed Hours: 40Minimum Qualifications• High school diploma or GED equivalent OR Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) in the State of Illinois• Five (5) years of work experience within the last eight years providing direct patient care in an Emergency Department or pre-hospital environment (i.e., ambulance services)• Ability to read and interpret EKG stripsCerts REQ: BLS, ACLSPreferred Qualifications• Currently licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) in the State ofIllinois• Recent (within last two years) experience/participation in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)activitiesHospital HighlightsScrub Color: any color, not providedCharting: CernerParking Cost: parking garage directly adjacent to the main hospital.
