Field Services Technician

DescriptionAre you a hands-on technician with a passion for environmental technology? Join our team in the Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) business unit, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and servicing critical emissions monitoring equipment across industrial sites.
As a Field Services Technician, you'll be responsible for the service, repair, and quality assurance of CEMS equipment at customer locations and occasionally in-house. You'll also support the Field Services Manager as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and QA testing of CEMS equipment, including:
Full and dilution extractive sampling systems
Hot/wet extractive sampling systems
Continuous Opacity Monitoring Systems (COMS) and Particulate Matter CEMS/CPMS
Mercury monitoring systems (instrumental and sorbent trap)
Conduct new equipment installations, start-ups, and customer training
Provide technical support to customers and internal teams
Coordinate scheduled maintenance and service visits with clients
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with CEMS field service is strongly preferred
Backgrounds in the following fields are highly valued:
HVAC systems
Hospital electronics or biomedical equipment repair
Office equipment servicing
Experienced-level mechanical work
Instrumentation & Controls technology
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or college coursework is a plus
Work Environment
Industrial settings, including outdoor and elevated workspaces
Must be comfortable working at heights up to 300 feet and operating aerial lifts
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and stoop consistently
Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Use tools requiring fine motor skills and color differentiation
Schedule & Travel
Full-time (40+ hours/week)
Frequent overnight travel required (25-50%)
Must be willing to work outdoors in various industrial environments

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The pay range for this entry-level role is $20-$25 per hour.
