This position centers around our part-time employees who deliver on our player experience standards. Our business is out on the field, 7 days a week because the fun never stops. Be prepared to spend time out at leagues interacting with our players and our staff as you will own the full lifecycle of our part-time staff. You will work collaboratively with local and national teams to ensure our part-time staff provide the very best on-field experience for our players.Volo is looking for someone who can:Manage and oversee all aspects of staffing our leagues and events, including direct management of a part-time staff team of approximately 150-200Oversee part-time resources supporting administrative duties of the roleSupport recruitment effort for part-time hosts and referees.Onboard and schedule excellent part-time talent to run our leagues and eventsSchedule staffing events - including part time staff interviews, pre-season training, mid-season check-ins, end of season celebrations, and staff appreciation eventsCompile staff feedback for review by managerGrow the staff & volunteer community and culture through special perks and eventsSchedule league & event staff - including hosts and refs for adult programsOwn the local payroll processDemonstrate a strong understanding of staff operations - league equipment and shirt logistics, coordinate shifts for new employees, follow up to new employees after their first shift, daily staff communicationAssure quality control and strength of adult programs through site visits and serve as a site lead for programs whenever necessaryManage staffing program in alignment with local budgetary constraintsYour expected skill set & experience:Minimum of 3-6 years of staffing experience, preferably part-time non-exempt workforceAbility to work nights and weekends as business needs requireCan marshal resources effectively and comfortablyCan navigate a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with minimal supervisionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDynamic personality interested in working in, and contributing to, a fun and active sporting environment"WOW" Us With ...Experience with group interviewsDeveloping and executing engaging trainingHRIS systems like RipplingStaff EvaluationsEnd-to-end payroll experienceBenefits:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) PlanPaid time off and holidaysPaid Parental LeaveEmployee discounts on Volo Sports programs and eventsAnnual Company EventsAdditional informationVolo is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that proudly pursues and hires a diverse workforce.
