The Web First Press Operator is responsible for operating web press machines and will play an essential role in the company. This position is a leadership role and will assist in directing the work activities of the press team members to ensure productivity, quality, and safety goals are met.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain press and all auxiliary equipment while guiding a crew to meet and exceed production standards while maintaining customer quality requirementsUnderstand set-up and maintenance procedures for entire pressAssist supervisors in providing feedback for employee evaluationsPromote, enforce, and sustain safety policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrevious web press operation experience requiredThorough knowledge of press operations and functionsMust be able to interact and cooperate with press team members and show an enthusiastic/positive attitudeMust have ability to communicate (verbal/written) with press team members and all levels of managementPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionallyRequires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity and coordinationMittera is a leading-edge company that provides commercial and digital printing, finishing, graphic design, data analytics, direct mail processing, and fulfillment services.
