Job Description Parkersburg Mancan is seeking an experienced Service Technician!Installation and Service TechnicianEstimated Pay: $50k per yearJob Type: Full-timeSummary--Project implementation and training of low voltage networks, fire alarm systems, and security system installations, including access control systems, intrusion alarms in residential and commercial settings, and CCTV systems in residential and commercial environments.Responsibilities and DutiesRead blueprints, programming documentation, and wiring diagramsTerminate and understand wiring codes for copper cable, including Cat6 and Cat6a cablingTroubleshoot low voltage wiring issues and correct them while in the fieldPerform basic programming on telecommunication equipment and alarm system equipment, including intrusion alarms, CCTV equipment, access control equipment, and life safety systemsQualificationsMinimum of 1 year of experience in telecommunications and/or security field experienceWorking knowledge of networking, security alarm systems, access control systems, cameras, fire alarms, and networksComputer experience preferredAbility to lift 50100 lbsAbility to work in office settings, tight spaces, and elevated work levels such as lifts or platformsMust reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting workExperienceLow voltage: 1 year (preferSecurity field: 1 year (preferred)License/CertificationLow Voltage License (preferred)Work Location: In personMancan offers our temporary employees full benefits such as paid vacations, holidays, 401K, as well as vision, dental, and medical.
