This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the bench, debugging complex hardware issues, and ensuring new designs are fully functional before firmware integration.You’ll play a key role in validating power, signal integrity, and overall board functionality while collaborating closely with design, test, and firmware teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead board bring-up activities for new hardware platforms and carrier cardsPerform detailed hardware debugging at the component and system levelValidate power sequencing, voltage rails, and signal pathsUse lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and power suppliesAnalyze schematics, PCB layouts, and design documentation to troubleshoot issuesSupport design verification and ensure readiness for firmware integrationApply structured debug methodologies to isolate and resolve hardware problemsDocument findings, test results, and validation processes clearlyCollaborate with cross-functional teams including design, test, and firmware engineersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field4–8+ years of hands-on hardware engineering experienceStrong experience with board bring-up and hardware debuggingFamiliarity with Cadence tools and PCB design environmentsSolid understanding of power integrity, signal integrity, and clockingExperience with lab testing and measurement techniquesAbility to interpret schematics and PCB layoutsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and documentation skills
