Software Development PositionServe as a key resource on project teams to design and implement cloud solutions. Research, investigate, and define new areas of technology to enhance existing FortiWeb product or new product directions; re-evaluate the design and implementation of current source code.Job Responsibilities:Serve as a key resource on project teams to design and implement cloud solutionsHands on bug fixes for the current FortiWeb productsDevelopment, design and test the software for FortiWebImplement new features according to the new feature specifications and TOP3Research, investigate and define new areas of technology to enhance existing FortiWeb product or new product directions; re-evaluate the design and implementation of current source codeMaintain and document code using source control systemCompleting technical documentationJob Skills Required:B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalentGood programming skills in C, Golong and PythonKnowledge of operating systems including various flavors of LinuxExperience managing common AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFormation etc.)Experience managing common Azure services (Virtual Machine, Database, Storage, Virtual Network, Azure Resource Manager, etc.)Familiar with GCP servicesHands-on experience engineering and managing private cloud (OpenStack/CloudStack)Familiar with functional programming in at least one of the following: AWS Lambda, Azure function, GCP Cloud functions.Familiarity with container skills, such as Kubernates is a plusUnderstanding of networking and hands-on experience managing networking in cloud environments is a plus (e.g. Subnetting, Load Balancing, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, Firewalls, IPSec)Capable of switching focus in various situations and apply themselves to quickly learning new technologies and adopting new methodologiesExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsUS citizenship is requiredThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$180,000.
