They must maintain sales goals and develop relationships andnew business while providing exceptional customer service.Essential FunctionsAchieve or exceed all defined sales performance objectives (revenue,margin, turnover).Follow up on leads and referrals promptly and effectively. Spendmajority of time with customers, in the office or in the field asappropriate. Have specific targets and processes for customeracquisition, development, and retention, possibly including focus onspecific geographic territories. Conduct professional salespresentations, including equipment demos, ensuring the customer hasaccurate and pertinent information for their needs. Ensures excellentafter-sales experience with delivery and initial experience.Ensures all paperwork is completed in a timely, accurate, andprofessional manner. This would include trade appraisals/descriptions,contracts, warranties, and wholegoods sales tickets. Pictures ofequipment must be timely with high quality for internet postings. Assistother sales representatives with trade valuations and productinformation. Be technically proficient in all sales tools, both theinternal information systems, as well as vendor sites for information.Ensures the high level of customer satisfaction as measured by customersurveys and ongoing customer contact. Take effective action to resolveany customer issues that occur. Ensure all commitments made to customersare satisfied including requests for information, delivery of product oranything committed for another employee to execute (i.e. Parts,service).Ensures good communication within location, and with otherlocations/employees.Ensure a clean office, clean desk, and clean company vehicle. Assist theStore Manager, Location Assistant, and other employees in keeping aclean and safe facility. Assist with literature racks and showroomdisplays as needed.Comply with all trucking regulations and vehicle inspections and mileagelogs as required.Continuously learn and apply new skills, strategies, and techniques.Develops and maintains a high level of product, market, and industryknowledge, including both equipment and precision farming. Work withsupervisors to have an ongoing development plan including bothinstructor-led and web-based training opportunities. Assist withstore-led marketing activities, events, and promotions as needed.Maintain a professional and contributory status in the community.
