Event Coordinator (South San Francisco)

Our client, a global professional's services firm, is seeking a highly motivated Event Coordinator to support their team, assisting with the execution of corporate events and delivering a seamless, high-touch experience for stakeholders. This role is highly execution-focused and ideal for someone who can multitask effectively, jump in quickly, and maintain a positive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment while providing "white glove" service. The Event Coordinator will support event logistics end-to-end—including vendor coordination, scheduling, and on-site execution—ensuring all events run smoothly and efficiently.**Please note this is a onsite, 1-month contract role based in South San Francisco, CA. Pay will be $28/hr.**Key Responsibilities:Support the planning and execution of corporate events, meetings, and internal functionsManage event logistics end-to-end, including coordination of venues, vendors, catering, and materialsAssist with scheduling, timelines, and on-site event coordination to ensure smooth executionPartner with internal teams and stakeholders to understand event needs and deliver on expectationsServe as a point of contact during events, providing a high level of service and troubleshooting as neededTrack event details, budgets, and deliverables to ensure alignment and accuracyUtilize internal systems and tools to manage event logistics and communicationsCommunicate clearly and consistently with vendors, stakeholders, and team membersSupport post-event wrap-up, including feedback collection and reconciliation of expensesJump in on ad hoc tasks and provide general administrative support as neededQualifications:2+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or administrative supportStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing prioritiesPositive, can-do attitude with a willingness to jump in quickly and support wherever neededStrong computer skills and comfort working across multiple systems and toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindsetExperience coordinating logistics, vendors, and timelines for events or projects preferredAbility to remain calm under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of professionalism with an emphasis on delivering "white glove" serviceStrong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks independentlyPlease submit your resume for consideration!You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting workgrades.com/home/candidate.
