Sr. Formulation Technician | Sunnyvale, California, United States Sr. Formulation Technician - Sunnyvale, CAAbout the RoleJoin a leading manufacturing laboratory in Sunnyvale, CA as a Sr. Formulation Technician, where you'll play a pivotal role in the preparation, testing, and packing of ion exchange media for chromatography consumables. This is a hands-on, contract position that offers exposure to advanced lab practices, opportunities for skill development, and the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.Responsibilities- Conduct testing and qualification of resin products using specialized laboratory instruments to fulfill customer requirements.- Accurately record, analyze, and report test results while maintaining detailed documentation.- Complete complex production work-orders in compliance with established procedures and ISO 9001 standards.- Analyze data, draw conclusions, and prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.- Collaborate with team members and other departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives.- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace in accordance with EH&S and company safety policies.- Identify operational improvement opportunities and propose actionable solutions.- Adhere strictly to GMP, QSRs, ISO, and IVD regulations during all processes.Required Skills and Experience- 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing, packing, or laboratory testing roles.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).- Strong mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to understand and follow SOPs and verbal instructions in English.- Experience using standard laboratory hand tools.- Consistent record of punctuality and attendance.- Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biotechnology preferred.Preferred Skills- Hands-on experience in a Chemistry laboratory setting.- Familiarity with chromatography software.- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and PPI Continuous Improvement methodologies.Benefits- Gain hands-on exposure to advanced laboratory processes and industry-leading technology.- Work in a collaborative, safety-first team environment with opportunities to contribute to process improvement.- Personal protective equipment (lab coats, safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes) fully provided.- Opportunities for skill development in Lean manufacturing, quality systems, and cross-functional teamwork.- Overtime available as needed.How to Apply
