Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A posting opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Technician (ORT) skilled in perioperative nursing practices. This contract position is based in Hanover, NH, and provides hands-on experience in a highly advanced operating room environment with 26 spacious, high-tech suites. The role supports a wide variety of surgical specialties including ENT, orthopedics, neuro, cardiac, robotics, and more, catering to patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics. Responsibilities: * Assist surgical teams during inpatient and outpatient procedures across multiple specialties. * Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment. * Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards. * Support anesthesia and surgical staff as needed during procedures. * Participate in on-call rotations and occasional night/weekend shifts per contract requirements. Qualifications & Desired Experience: * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * National certification in your relevant surgical technician area. * Must apply for NH Medical Technician license immediately upon acceptance. * Proven experience in an operating room setting, familiar with diverse surgical services. * Flexibility to fulfill 4 to 5 shift/on-call obligations beyond primary scheduled shifts during the 13-week contract. * Ready to commit to a shift schedule primarily covering Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, plus 1 additional random shift during the week (either 7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 11:00 AM-11:00 PM).
