Use ERP/ CRM systems and other tools to be provided to identify and grow sales opportunities and increase efficiencies. Ensure that the company is attracting and retaining business through a thorough understanding of CCS customer needs and markets. The successful employee will be able to speak with authority on services/ products offered and independently advise customers on a solution for their needs.JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIESCommunicate effective solutions to a variety of customer needsExpand product knowledge, continuously growing skillsetsCreate and build relationships, representing partners’ interestsImprove sales process working with managerial teamManage accounts professionally, utilizing technology/strategyIncrease customer satisfaction and drive sales growthMaintain CRM, pricing, sales materials, and current product knowledge.Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate external sales colleagues.Assist with customer leads, purchase histories, and sales reporting to appropriate colleagues.Actively assist Customer Support Manager and Sales Manager with reporting leads / opportunitiesProcesses and expedites customer orders in a timely manner. Processing will include receipt of the order by phone, email, facsimile or customer's portal; verifying motors/parts; transferring orders to scheduling; providing delivery dates and advising customer of stock-out conditions.Proactively analyze lower volume deliveries across CCS and propose modified behavior to maximize delivery efficiency while increasing customer satisfaction.Customer follow up after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.Maintains an appropriate level of technical and industry knowledge of CCS products, processes and operational procedures to ensure professional communications with customers and the market place in general.Handles customer issues such as complaints, literature requests, shipment delivery tracking and claim/dispute resolution.Other assignments as needed.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.Minimum of 1-2 years of successful inside sales or sales support experience; in a chemical or commodities industry preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels of the organization.Proven ability to successfully follow up on multiple projects at a time and achieve goals in a continuously changing work environment.Ability to develop new customer relationships and sustain existing relationships.Ability to demonstrate excellent judgement through effective and creative problem solving.Must be able to exude an upbeat and positive attitude while being assertive and professional in all verbal and written communication.Excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and customer relationship development skills.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
