Job Description: Project Executive (Large-Scale Construction)Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid/On-site 2–3 times per week)Salary Range: $150,000 – $200,000 + Performance Bonus PotentialUrgency: High (Targeting a start date within 2–3 weeks)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Project Executive to lead high-stakes, large-scale construction projects in the San Antonio area. Following a period of significant growth, we need a high-level professional to manage the commercial, contractual, and administrative success of projects valued at $100M+.The company specializes in High Voltage transmission and distribution projects and has been operating since 1983 in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.You will work directly alongside a Construction Manager; while they focus on the physical execution and crew management, you will be the primary lead for the "business" side of the project, including contracts, scheduling, and client relations.Key Responsibilities● Project Controls & Administration: Lead the submittal process and ensure all documentation is handled with precision within Procore.● Scheduling Excellence: Take full ownership of the project schedule, including routine maintenance, updates, and strategic recovery via Primavera P6.● Contract Management: Oversee subcontractor agreements, manage complex contract lifecycles, and process change order entitlements efficiently.● Reporting & Logistics: Maintain comprehensive issue, risk, and production logs to ensure transparent project tracking.● Financial Oversight: Actively monitor project profitability and commercial health; must understand the financial implications of work sequencing and schedule shifts.● Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineering teams, and internal executive leadership.Candidate Requirements● Industry Background: Experience in Utility/Transmission projects is preferred. We also welcome experts from Heavy Civil, Vertical Construction, or large-scale Commercial/Multifamily backgrounds who possess the aptitude to manage a steep learning curve.● Large-Scale Expertise: A proven track record of successfully managing projects with budgets of $100M+.● Technical Proficiency:○ Procore: Advanced proficiency is required.○ Primavera P6: Expertise is strongly preferred; a functional, working knowledge is the minimum requirement.● Location & Mobility: Ability to be on-site in the San Antonio area 2–3 days per week.
