Job Title: Blue Yonder WMS – Techno functional (Pharma)Duration: 6-12 Months Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional Consultant with expertise in Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) solutions, particularly in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), to join our team in the pharmaceutical supply chain domain. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen and functional business process knowledge, enabling them to bridge the gap between technology and operations. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain processes, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry, and the ability to implement and optimize Blue Yonder WMS solutions to enhance efficiency, compliance, and performance. Key Responsibilities: Solution Implementation:Lead the end-to-end implementation of Blue Yonder WMS solutions within pharmaceutical supply chain environments.Customize and configure Blue Yonder WMS modules to meet the specific needs of the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP).Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure successful deployment and integration of the WMS.Technical Expertise:Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design, configurations, and customizations.Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, resolving system issues, and optimizing WMS performance.Perform data migration, interface development, and integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, TMS).Functional Knowledge:Understand and translate business requirements into functional specifications for WMS solutions.Advise on best practices for warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution within the pharma supply chain.Ensure that WMS configurations support industry-specific processes such as lot tracking, expiration date management, cold chain logistics, and product recalls. Qualifications: Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Experience:5+ years of experience working with Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) WMS in a techno-functional capacity.Strong understanding of supply chain processes within the pharmaceutical industry.Proven experience in implementing WMS solutions in regulated environments (e.g., GMP, FDA).Experience with system integration, data migration, and interface development.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Blue Yonder WMS modules, including configuration, customization, and support.Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.Familiarity with integration tools and technologies (e.g., APIs, EDI, middleware).Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C#) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Blue Yonder WMS or related supply chain management systems.Experience with other Blue Yonder solutions (e.g., TMS, Demand Planning) is a plus.Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards.Interested candidates drop your updated resume at girishm@elementtechnologies.com
