DutiesDutiesThe duties of this position are to be established by the building principal; Duties are not limited to those listed here.Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on instruction aligned with state CTE standards and industry expectations.Develop students' technical skills, career readiness, and employability skills through real-world applications.Integrate academic content with career-focused learning.Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment, including labs and equipment.Collaborate with school staff, counselors, and administrators to support student success.Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, industries, and community organizations.Supervise students in work-based learning opportunities, internships, or industry experiences as applicable.Support students in earning industry certifications and participating in career and technical student organizations (CTSOs).Use data to assess student performance and adjust instruction to support student growth.Participate in professional development and stay current with industry trends and technologies.Fulfill all required documentation, compliance, and program reporting requirements.QualificationsValid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a CTE Endorsement,or an Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) endorsed in Career and Technical Education,or an Educator License with Stipulations for Career and Technical Education Provisional (ELS-CTEP)Salary/BenefitsAnnual Salary: With District Paid TRS Starting at $44,990 per the Mount Olive Education Association Contract (2024-2027).Additional NotesWe are seeking an innovative Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher to join our instructional team.
