Seeking BC/BE Internal Medicine Physician to join our Internal Medicine Residency Continuity Clinic team working with and teaching residents. Full-time hospital employed position 100% outpatient setting Serve as a clinical preceptor, supervising and mentoring Internal Medicine residents in their continuity clinic Guide residents in evidence-based patient care, professional development, and practice management Supervise residents in their documentation in the EMR, writing of orders, and articulation of care plans by reviewing resident notes and adding the appropriate addendums Provide two didactic lectures per year Complete annual evaluations Work in a collaborative, team-based academic environment with opportunities for scholarly activities Base Salary Compensation Package May also Include: Generous base salary plus bonus incentives Relocation assistance and commencement bonus Medical education loan repayment assistance Residency stipend for qualifying candidates Full malpractice coverage Comprehensive health benefits package including 401(k) Excellent health benefits with 401K Paid CME time with annual allowance Personal time off (PTO) J1 visa support is not available at this location About the community:Knoxville is in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is home to the University of Tennessee, Tennessee Valley Authority, and close to a National Lab and high-tech industry.
