Job Title: Occupational TherapistLocation: Republic, WA 99166Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (as applicable)Setting: Hospital / Community HealthcareJob SummaryThe Occupational Therapist provides diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic treatment to assigned patients. This role supports patients in achieving their highest level of functional independence and community participation within the limits of their capabilities.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesConducts patient evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans in accordance with departmental standardsProvides consultation on environmental design, adaptive equipment, patient positioning, splinting, and contracture preventionMaintains timely, accurate, and compliant patient documentationDesigns and administers therapeutic programs to improve strength, range of motion, coordination, and functional independenceInstructs patients in adaptive techniques and the use of assistive devices for daily living activitiesProvides therapy for neurological and sensorimotor integration, including visual perceptual-motor remediationTreats patients with orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac, balance, and cognitive conditionsEducates patients and families on energy conservation, joint protection, safety strategies, and transfer techniquesPerforms home assessments and designs home exercise or care programsAdministers prevocational and functional readiness programs to support return-to-work goalsParticipates in interdisciplinary collaboration and quality improvement initiativesPerforms related duties as assignedProfessional ExpectationsMaintains professional appearance and adherence to departmental dress codeComplies with all regulatory, ethical, and organizational policiesCompletes mandatory education and training within required timeframesAttends required meetings, in-services, and performance reviewsDemonstrates professionalism and positive representation of the organizationMaintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulationsEducation & QualificationsBachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy - requiredCurrent or pending Washington State Occupational Therapist license - requiredOne (1) year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to applyFor more details reach at jmckenzie@navitashealth.com
