Technical Program Manager, Growth

Overview In this role, you drive the Extensibility program within Stripe's Developer Experience & Product Platform, coordinating Scripts, Custom Objects, and Workflows. You will set program direction with DEeP leadership and ensure alignment across multiple orgs to deliver strategic platform capabilities. Expect to shape roadmaps, resolve cross-team trade-offs, and support engagements with ProServ and Partnerships. This position offers impact at scale, shaping how Stripe’s extensibility enables customers and product teams. You’ll work in a highly collaborative, ambitious environment that values cross-functional impact and technical leadership. ResponsibilitiesDrive cross-org decisions across Script Platform, Custom Objects, Apps, SDK, Observability, DevEx, and Versioning, resolving ownership and integration questions between teamsOwn the critical path to major launches by shaping scope, descope decisions, and trade-offs across teamsInfluence and shape product and engineering roadmaps, aligning team plans with extensibility strategy and advocating for cross-cutting investmentsSupport ProServ and Partnerships by surfacing requirements into the roadmap and bridging platform delivery with customer needs Key requirements5+ years of technical program management experience delivering complex cross-organizational programsStrong product sense with ability to understand enterprise customer needsExcellent written and verbal communication across engineering, product, and executive audiencesProven ability to lead and align cross-functional teams, resolve conflict, and build consensusTrack record of successful program delivery in complex technical environmentsBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experiencecommunicationcross-functional collaborationconflict resolutionconsensus buildingexperience with developer platforms, API products, or payment systemsability to translate technical trade-offs into strategic decisions
