ApplySave JobRefer a FriendBackShare This Page Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedInShare via EmailJob Details Requisition #:664714 Location:Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287 Category:Nursing Schedule:Day Shift Employment Type:Full TimeThe Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic provides pre and post-operative evaluation and care for pediatric and adult reconstructive surgery related to body injuries and conditions, burns, pressure ulcer and wound closure, cleft lip and palate, facial and jaw injuries, hand injuries, head and neck tumors, breast and skin cancer as well as tissue transfer/transplant. The clinic also cares for patients who have undergone transgender health surgeries such as vaginoplasty, phalloplasty, mastoplasty, and mastectomies. This is not an elective cosmetic surgery practice.Shifts: Monday-Friday 40 hours/week, 8 hour day shifts (8a-4:30 or 8:30-5p); No weekends and paid holidays!What Awaits You:Achievable and ProgressiveClinical Ladderto encourage career growth and developmentTuition Reimbursement and a nursing loan repayment programDependent Child Tuition - Payment for up to 50% of child's tuition and eligible academic feesCheck out our benefits here: Qualifications:* 2 years of recent RN experience required - preferably working with post-surgical patients (wounds and drains) and triage experience preferred* Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire. BSN/MSN preferred. Must be from an accredited nursing program* Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required at time of hire* BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted* Ability to role model and support practices consistent with evidenced based care, function autonomously, guide others with plan of care, independently make clinical decisions in complex situations, and proactively assist others with patient assignment.Important Notice: Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.Salary Range: Minimum 38.49/hour - Maximum 59.66/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
