In close partnership with the Board of Directors, this leader brings strategic vision to life, grounded in trust, transparency, and shared accountability.This role requires both imagination and discipline: guiding the organization through growth and transformation, strengthening its presence in the community, and positioning the credit union as a central, trusted financial partner in an increasingly competitive, fintech-driven environment.What You Will DoAdvance the credit union’s vision and help define its next phase of growth and relevanceEnsure long-term financial sustainability through strategic planning and disciplined executionPartner closely with the Board to maintain alignment, transparency, and trustLead the organization with clarity and accountability across all operations and subsidiariesNavigate the intersection of financial performance, member experience, employee engagement, and community impactIdentify and pursue growth opportunities to expand reach and strengthen market presenceGuide the organization through transformation, serving as a steady and intentional change leaderElevate and strengthen the credit union’s visibility and influence within the community and industryChampion employee and community engagement, building a strong, visible presence, and ensuring the organization remains actively connected to the communities it servesWhat You Bring to the RoleSeven–10 years of progressive executive-level leadership, with success leading growth and transformationBachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or a related field; commitment to ongoing professional developmentStrong financial acumen and the ability to drive performance and long-term sustainabilityExperience collaborating effectively with Boards, including governance alignment, transparency, and strategic partnershipExpertise in financial technology, payments, AI, and emerging innovations such as stablecoinKnowledge of cybersecurity and risk management practicesBroad, enterprise-wide perspective with the ability to lead across all functions as a generalist executiveProven success in change management, leadership development, and succession planningAbility to align strategy, operations, people, and technology into a cohesive, forward-looking organizationEstablished credibility and leadership within the financial services and credit union industryActive engagement in industry associations, networks, and strategic partner relationshipsCompensationSalary is $200,000 - $240,000 plus incentive.
